In a central location (Ojota), with many bus parks scattered around the place. Always a bee hive of activities. Arrival point for travellers coming into Lagos from many cities. A major landmark for description. You can't miss the giant statue of late legal luminary and legendary activist, Chief Gani Fawehinmi. The park has a well tended, lush green grass.

Located near the ever busy Ojota bustop in Lagos. It is a memorial place for the remembrance of a famous human right activist Gani Fawhenmi.

Abdul-Ganiyu "Gani" Oyesola Fawehinmi,  was a well respected Nigerian author, publisher, philanthropist,   social critic, seasoned human and civil rights lawyer, politician and Senior Advocate of Nigeria. In 2010, a park in Ojota was named after him by the Lagos state government. This park is historical and a good place to take pictures

I went to the park to take pictures for my photography assignment. I'm really proud such site of attraction was dedicated to Gani Fawehimi. He was a man of honor and justice
The park had beautiful sceneries thought it needs more security because of the Ojota opportunists.
It requires maintenence too. But overall I loved it

The legendary Gani, Gani the fearless advocate, the Gani Fawehinmi park is an historical park, situated between Ketu and Ojota, along the Ikorodu Expressway. It was the venue of Occupy Nigeria, mass protest against Subsidy removal and many other gathering and public protest. The park is well taken care of. A place to visit. Recommended.

This is a symbolic park named after the iconic legend, Chief Gani Fawehinmi. A lawyer per excellence and an advocate for the common man. Today, the park service is a melting pot for all struggles emanating in the mega city (Lagos).

This place has an eormous statute of the Late Gani Fawehinmi. The park environment is not bad with an average facility. The traffic situation is unpredictable, so one has to plan movement along Ojota-via-Motorways axis very well before setting out to use the Park.

This park is not open to the public. Just a space with some green grass and the statue of the Late Legal Luminary, Chief Gani Fawehinmi.

A regular park and done up nicely in memory of the civil right activist, Gani Fawehinmi who lived, worked all his life in Lagos and had one of the foremost law firms in Nigeria. He was known for his fiery speeches against the government which often gained him incarceration.
The park has a gigantic statue of the late activist, beautiful and serene display of flowers, lights ans seats. However, the park is gated to keep out miscreants.
The park often plays host to civil actions against government policy and inaction.
It is a popular location in Ojota area of Lagos State

This Park was dedicated to the memories of a great man, a lawyer, a human right advocate and a freedom fighter. The location of the park readily attest the fact. The Ojota axis of Lagos highly populated by the downtrodden, with just a few average people. Gani stood for such people and his statue stood tall In this park.

Leisurely place. Could be more exciting for those that like that type of fun with live music. Went in the afternoon when things were more quite and calm the way I like it. Food and drinks affordable

Open air park and green area dedicated to the memory of Nigeria's legal luminary and human rights activists who championed for true democracy and the welfare of the Nigerian masses in his time, late Chief Gani Fawehinmi.

It has the basic amenities of a park such as green areas, benches, and play areas for children etc.

Being close to the Ojota bus stop, noise and environmental pollution are major issues and visitors are encouraged to be security conscious.

It's a Park dedicated to the memory of late human rights activist and lawyer, Chief Gani Fawhemi. In the park you have his imposing image erected. The park has recently become a rallying point for rights activists to protest against unpopular govt policies and programmes. It is located few meters away from the Ojota Bust Stop

Gani Fawehinmi park is a popular landmark in Lagos. Situated at Ojota, it is bordered by Lagos-Ibadan Expressway (E1), Ikorodu Road and the exit the ramp connecting Lagos-Ibadan Expressway and Ikorodu road from Ibadan inward Ojota.
This park hosted the famous Fuel Subsidy protests of January 2012.

The lush green grasses of the park and its clean and beautiful scenic view is eye-catching as you descend the ramp towards Ojota. The Lagos State Government maintains the park.

Horticultural garden and park with Gani Fawehinmi cenotaph. Well kept lawn and flower beds. It is located injota, on the left hand side as you descend the bridge from the Lagos former toll gate. There are garden seats located on the lawn where people may rest for a while from the hustle and bustle of the Ojota bus stop.

Gani Fawehinmi, was an advocate for the rights of the common man, who stood for what it truly means to be an Activist.
